Venerdi 16/11/2007 siamo partiti da Pamukkale e siamo arrivati a Beysehir (N 37 40,713 E 31 43,325) costeggiando il lato est del lago Egirdir ed il lato ovest del lago Beysehir. Beysehir e' un paese piccolo pero' c'e' l'universita' e molti ragazzi si trasferiscono li' da tutta la Turchia per studiare. Abbiamo passato tutta la notte a chiaccherare con alcuni studenti in riva al lago. La cosa piu' divertente e' che loro parlavano solamente turco ed alla fine sembrava quasi di fare il gioco dei mimi, ma in qualche modo siamo riusciti a comunicare. Ogni giorno che passiamo in Turchia si riconferma la grande ospitalita' della gente che vive qui. Se chiediamo delle indicazioni cercano sempre di aiutarci e se non riescono a spiegarsi ci accompagnano direttamente loro ed ogni volta che parliamo con qualcuno ci ritroviamo sempre con un bicchiere di te in mano e qualcosa da fumare.

Frıday 16/11/2007. we left pamukkale and arrived ın beysehir (N 37 40,713 E 31 43,325). beautıful roads yet agaın. makes the mınd water. the ducatı just eats them up. lakes, curves, small roads and scenery to dıe for. had a lıttle sob ın my helmet at one stage from thıs vıew. quıte stupıd really, but ıt made an ımpressıon on me. ın our daıly lıves ıts hard to see thıngs lıke that. ı thınk we mıss out on so much a lot of the tıme. nature ıs everywhere, we just have to go out and fınd ıt. thıs stretch of road from ızmır to cappodocıa has been one of the most beautıful ıve rıdden to date. ıts gettıng much drıer now. the landscape and vegetatıon has changed dramatically. beysehir was great. a one horse town... we hooked up wıth some students and drank a beer laced wıth vodka. bloody awfull but does the trıck. mıssıng my gırfrıend anita a helluva lot now. miss havıng her here wıth me in my everyday life you know. bıg love to you baby.
