Non c'e' niente di peggio che svegliarsi al freddo con la nebbia e dover indossare i vestiti bagnati. Cosi' quando sono partito da Maseru avevo il morale piuttosto basso. Ma appena si e' dissolta la nebbia ed e' tornato il sereno improvvisamente tutto e' cambiato. Ho ritrovato il buonumore e la gioia di guidare la motocicletta attraverso le montagne del Lesotho illuminate dal sole. Malealea (S 29 49,718' E 27 35,968') e' un piccolo villaggio arroccato sulle montagne in mezzo ad un fantastico paesaggio bucolico. Per chi ama lunghe passeggiate in mezzo alla natura con scenari mozzafiato e' il posto ideale. Io che sono un po' pigro e non amo molto camminare ho preferito andare a cavallo ed ho passato un giorno intero a cavalcare su e giu' per i prati passando di valle in valle tra montagne, cascate, ruscelli e pitture rupestri. E' stata una giornata fantastica anche se quella sera il mio fondoschiena ha gridato vendetta.

When I left Maseru my morale was rather low, but then the fog dissolved and it was sunny again everything changed. I was in a good mood again and riding my bike through the sun-lit mountains of Lesotho was great fun. Malealea (S 29 49,718' E 27 35,968') is a small village perched up on the mountains and the landscape is very bucolic and unspoilt. If you like hiking in the nature with breath-taking views this is the place for you. I am a lazy guy and I don’t like walking so much, so I preferred a horse. I spent all day on horseback up and down the meadows, criss-crossing the valleys encircled by mountains, riding by waterfalls, streams and rock paintings. It was a great day, but in the evening my back was oh so sore.
