Where in Bulgaria not Sudan! Lunedi 05/11/2007 mattina abbiamo effettuato quello che fino ad oggi e' stato il piu' lungo e faticoso trasferimento: 600 km di cui 200 km sotto la pioggia, al buio, con un fortissimo vento trasversale e ad una teemperatura vicino allo zero. A rendere le cose piu' interessanti ci ha pensato la presenza di numerose macchie d'olio lasciate sulla strada dai vecchi camion che circolano su queste strade. Una volta arrivati ad Istanbul pero' e' bastato il panorama mozzafiato che si scorge dall'autostrada per ripagarci della fatica.

so we left sofia around 10 in the morning. we planned to do about 300kms that day. nice riding. lovely roads. small country ones. rolling hills, nice curves. the multistrada glides beautifully through them, bringin them up and over into the next curve is so swift and smooth. a real pleasure. stopped off at an old jet fighter parked on the road. then made our way to istanbul. we decided to do another 280 that day. we were feeling good and enjoying oursleves. last 3 hours it was raining hard. arriving in istanbul we were not happy campers. thank allah we had gps systems. otherwise we would have gotten horrible lost.
